INVITATION AND CALL FOR PAPERS:

 We invite experts, professionals, academicians, scientists, researchers, policy makers, managers, stakeholders and students to attend the conference and participate in the various deliberations. Prospective authors are invited to contribute technical papers on the theme of the conference.

 Abstracts of about 300 words indicating results and conclusions of the studies falling under any of the above mentioned themes for studies are invited. The abstract should be submitted electronically at given Email Id only with one hard copy by post to the Organizing Secretary of "DSS - EWMD" by 30th June, 2014. The abstracts should contain the title of the paper, names of all the authors and full contact details of the corresponding author. The extended abstract should be between 300-400 words, neatly typed with 1.5 lines spacing in Times New Roman (MS-WORD Font Size 12 pt.) The authors whose papers are selected for presentation (Either Oral or Poster) and inclusion in the Proceedings of the full length paper shall be intimated by 15th July 2014. The full length paper with two hard copies along with CD/Soft Copy should be sent latest by 31st   October 2014.

 The official language of the conference is English

 DATES AND VENUE

 The conference will be held during 28 - 30 December, 2014 at Durgapur, the industrial hub of Eastern India.

 

 
   

SCHEDULE FOR THE CONFERENCE

 Submission of abstracts               :          30 September, 2014

Acceptance of abstract                :        10 October 2014

Submission of full length paper  :       31 October, 2014

Acceptance of full length paper  :      15th Nov. 2014

Conference                                        :      28 - 30 December 2014

Full length papers will be reviewed and the accepted papers will be published either in the SCIE listed Journal, "Disaster Advances" or in the special publication by Springer. The publication will be given to registered delegates at the time of registration.

VENUE FOR THE CONFERENCE

 National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal, India.

 CLIMATE

 During December, Durgapur still observes bright and pleasant sunny days, temperature reaching to a low of around 10oC during the nights and high of 20oC during day time. Delegates are advised not to worry much about woolen clothing with them for their visit to Durgapur during the conference days.
